TikTok comment scraper, as an API
Paste a video, a creator, or a hashtag. Get the whole comment section back as JSON, with the quotes already sorted by what they mean.
Runs in your BuzzSearch account. Free to sign up, and the same read is one API call or one MCP tool call.
Comments we read under one source
One video, read in full. These are sixteen of the 112 comments under it, as the API hands them back.
Every card is a real comment, quoted as written. This is what the API returns, before the quotes are tagged.
One call from your code. One tool call from your agent.
The search endpoint takes a link the same way it takes a question. Poll once with include=comments and the whole section comes back as JSON.

Not a CSV of rows. The comments, the quotes already tagged by what they mean, the sources with their counts, and a cited answer.

}comments[]
Every comment read, with author, like count, reply depth, and the video it sits under. Replies are included.
quotes[]
The lines worth keeping, tagged pain point, failed solution, objection, desired outcome, or lingo, with a score and an intensity.
sources_read[]
Each video with its like count, its comment total, and how many comments were actually read.
answer.markdown
A cited read of the section, every claim pointing at a quote id you can resolve back to the comment.
coverage
How many videos, how many comments, which sources, so you can judge the read before you trust it.
credits_charged
The exact cost, reported after the run. Rereading a finished search is free.
What gets read
A video link
The full comment section, top-level comments and replies, past the handful the app shows.
A creator @handle or profile
Their recent videos, then the comments under each one. A bare @handle means TikTok.
A hashtag page
The videos ranked on the tag, then the comments under each one.
A question
Search first, then read. Only videos that Google and TikTok search both surface for the query get scraped.
The caption
Quotable as its own line, since on TikTok the caption often carries the strongest first-person testimony.
Likes and dates
Each comment keeps its like count and timestamp, so the quotes rank on engagement, not on order.

Questions
Is there a free TikTok comment scraper here?
Reads run inside a BuzzSearch account. Signing up is free, and the input above drops your link into the chat, where the first read is the same one the API makes.
Does TikTok have a comments API?
TikTok's Research API is limited to approved academic institutions. BuzzSearch reads public comment sections and returns them as JSON through its own API and MCP server, with no application process.
How many comments does one read cover?
Depth sets it: quick reads the top of the section in about a minute, deep and exhaustive page further. The response reports comments_read next to the video's comment total, so you always know the share you saw.
Can I export TikTok comments to CSV or Excel?
The API returns JSON you can write anywhere. In the app, any finished read copies out as Markdown. The BuzzSearch Chrome extension also copies a comment section from the page you are on, with no account. TikTok comment analysis
Does it work on private or removed videos?
No. Only public videos are read. A private, removed, or age-gated video comes back as a failed source, not as a charge.
What do I do with the comments?
Ad hooks in the buyers' words, objections before you pay for the ad, and the lingo of a niche. The quotes arrive tagged, so the hook agent and the avatar research can start from them directly. Turn comments into ad hooks
How is this billed?
Credits from your BuzzSearch balance, charged after the run and reported as credits_charged. Reading a finished search, its quotes, its sources, and its comments costs nothing. See pricing
